Our Woman’s Plant Medicine Retreat Goes Down in History!

This past weekend was my bi-annual women’s medicine retreat: Cornucopia: A Heart and Womb Harvest.

It was in a new location in Taos, which always means a few bumps in the road as I figure out the flow and listen and learn from the land.

We started on Friday, clearing the runway for the plant medicine ceremony on Saturday.

Cacao pomegranate ceremony, womb rituals, rage/grief ceremony, a stillness practice, and a rapé ceremony all served to bring in awareness, stir up, and start releasing as much trauma, grief, pain, anxiety, and fear. Everyone was then more of an open channel to receive exactly what their souls, wombs, and hearts needed.

The Great Spirit has always guided me to lead ceremonies outside, as our Divine Mother Earth plays such an important role in the healing process with the divine medicines. With the power of our wombs, intentions, and hearts, the alchemy brought torrential rain for the first two hours!

Water brings life. The rain was metaphorically cleansing to bring new life to all the women’s wombs and hearts. Then the glorious sun came out to play. And then the rain and the thunder beings came at the end of ceremony, once again.

All of this was part of the big initiation that was happening for us all. So much release of deep pain, trauma, grief, anger, and ancestral baggage, that when it hasn’t been released and healed, it is passed down from womb to womb to womb until a person of that lineage does the work.

These ladies did the work, wowza! This is what it looked like:

The Healing & releasing of:

  • Body shame
  • Sexual trauma
  • Letting go of the overactive/overworked masculine energies
  • Control
  • Righteous anger at the false patriarchy
  • Not knowing one’s purpose
  • Staying quiet and full of resentment
  • Physical un-wellness
  • Grief
  • Mother/Father wounds
  • Numbness
  • People pleasing

Shifting into:

  • Authentically being themselves without the facades and ‘Good Girl’ programming
  • Body love
  • Joy & Gratitude
  • Forgiveness for those who have hurt us
  • Courageously speaking our truth, even if the truth hurts
  • Inner peace that hasn’t been felt for a long time
  • Connecting to their divine feminine for the first time
  • Opening to balancing and unionification with their inner feminine & masculine
  • Embodying more of their womb power
  • Discovering her soul purpose to become a painter when she’s never painted in her life!
  • Feeling their feelings and honoring them
  • Compassion for the father and the mother who did the best they could with the tools they had

Even I had a massive healing after ceremony was closed that brought grief, anger, and finally a breaking open. Taos Mountain has been my medicine for the past five years. It has initiated me and brought me to my knees over and over and over again.

The energies were so big in our ceremony, with the rain, thunder, lightning, all part of the energy shifting, it was no surprise that I too received a healing and up leveling.

It has broken my heart open even wider to embody on a deeper level authenticity, integrity, humility, and love.

When we do this in our work, these are the beautiful gifts. If this speaks to you, and you are ready to go deep into women’s work, there is a waiting list for the women’s plant medicine retreat in Taos, March 19 – 22. Click here to get your name on the list, and we’ll let you know when the webpage is ready with all the information and registration.

Quite a few women from the retreat are in or have been through my Divine Feminine Reclamation Mentorship, which is a powerful way to prep for these retreats and then receive support and guidance post-retreat.

Celebrating all these women for doing their work to allow their divine to shine in magnificent ways!

P.S.  I will also be in Boulder this weekend, leading a Cacao ceremony on Sunday, the day of the eclipse and equinox!

There are still a few spots left. Come join us!
