Yet another eclipse is happening today, a new moon solar one.
Eclipse energies stir the pot, and bring things to the surface. There’s an invitation to do some deep shadow work.
What does that mean exactly?
It’s about rolling up your sleeves, turning on the flashlight, and bringing light to the dark hidden places. These are the places you don’t want to look at. It’s the stuff you keep on the outer edges, hoping it’ll just disappear, i.e.:
- keeping yourself small
- not speaking your truth
- not feeling worthy
- sexual trauma
- not standing in your power
- not feeling confident
- not living a gratifying life…
I’m not going to lie, doing shadow work is hard, not fun, BUT oh so worth it! It brings expanded consciousness, love on another level, magic, freedom, wisdom, and much more.
It makes more space for your soul so you can lead with it instead of the wounded parts.
If you’re game, pick an area in your life where anxiety, fear, lack of forgiveness, sadness, etc., reside. See if you can put your arms around it like you would a five-year-old child who just fell off their bike and skinned their knee.
Send it love, tenderness, compassion. Oftentimes that’s all it needs is to be seen and witnessed and then the dissolving begins.
