This past weekend, I was in Lander, Wyoming, to be part of and to celebrate two special people: Sarah & Jeremy Wilzbacher in their Renewal of Vows ceremony.
A bit of the backstory, they have been part of my Dreamtime Healings community for two years.
It started with a plant medicine ceremony that opened the door to deep introspection for them both.
Since then, Sarah has done two more ceremonies with me, the women’s plant medicine retreat, and eight months of the Divine Feminine Reclamation Mentorship. We dove DEEP. She did the work and continues to do so.
It was then time for Jeremy to step up to the plate. For a woman to drop fully into her ever-expansive, divine feminine, it requires the healthy, sacred masculine, creating the container and holding her. He’s done three ceremonies with me, opening more of his heart center as well as doing sacred masculine work with a mentor.
Because of our deep work together and the transfiguration that has transpired, they asked me to speak about the Divine Union of the feminine and masculine and their journey with it.
It was such an honor and yet terrifying, the thought of public speaking!
As I practiced reading through my speech, I was overcome with tears every single time, so many tears of love.
When I’d think about the ceremony and speech, I’d start tearing up.
When I saw Jeremy, the day before the ceremony, we were talking about it, and I started crying again.
I asked Spirit what’s up with all the tears? Why so much emotion?
The message was: 5 1/2 years ago, I was guided to Taos for my initiation into the divine feminine. Sarah and Jeremy‘s renewal of vows is a culmination and testimonial of all the work we’ve been doing, a true celebration. The tears are love…. Love emanates from the heart….And the heart is the sacred feminine essence.
Public speaking is not at the top of my list!
To speak in front of 180 people is a big deal for me… and that is what Spirit is also celebrating.
The prep & actual speech was an initiation/activation of sorts to open my heart more, to emanate the divine feminine, radiate so much love, letting the tears flow, being an example of the vulnerable, powerful feminine.
All this as we honored, witnessed, and celebrated Sarah and Jeremy in their magnificent, divine union, testament of the deep inner work, their love and commitment to one another.
This is what is possible when you dig deep within, open your heart, and share yourself authentically in all the messy, imperfect, magical, brilliant aspects of self.
