Reflections from Our Recent Plant Medicine Journey

This past weekend, we had yet another powerful plant medicine ceremony. One of the unique gifts of plant medicine is its ability to bring subconscious patterns, emotions, and beliefs into awareness—not just intellectually, but through direct experience. During our recent ceremony, participants shared profound experiences of healing, insight, and transformation.

A central theme was safety.

Several participants described feeling a level of trust, support, and acceptance they had not experienced in years, allowing old patterns of control, fear, and hypervigilance to soften. As safety emerged, so did the ability to surrender, receive support, and connect more deeply with themselves and others.

Many participants experienced ancestral and generational healing, uncovering inherited patterns, processing grief, and receiving powerful messages of love, wisdom, and belonging. Others found themselves reconnecting with their intuition, learning to trust their inner knowing over analysis and self-doubt.

The ceremony also revealed profound lessons in self-love, receiving, and embodiment. Participants described releasing grief and emotional burdens held in the body, discovering greater compassion for themselves, and embracing parts of themselves they had previously rejected or hidden.

Alongside the healing came moments of joy, wonder, and empowerment.

Participants shared experiences of reconnecting with childlike playfulness, feeling more fully alive, and recognizing their capacity to create meaningful change in their lives.

Again and again, people reflected on a deeper sense of connection—to nature, to their ancestors, to community, and to themselves. These experiences serve as a reminder that healing is not about becoming someone new, but remembering who we are beneath the layers of conditioning, fear, and past experiences.

The medicine opens the door, brings the golden nuggets, and the integration of those insights is where lasting transformation begins.

If you are feeling the call, there are two spots left for the August 1 Plant Medicine Ceremony in Boulder.
