Let the Medicine Have it’s Way with You!

I so often say in our plant medicine ceremonies: surrender to the medicine…Let the medicine have its way with you.

Surrender

It’s way easier said than done as the ego/mind wants to always be in control. Yet when we can surrender, the magic unfolds.

Joan, who recently came to ceremony, is a great example of this. Her intention was to heal deep childhood trauma that she just couldn’t let go of even though she’d had years of talk therapy.  She committed to herself, to surrender and this is what she had to share:

Rebirthing!

‘It was a profound and powerful experience, not comfortable, no rainbows and unicorns but I birthed myself! It was a safe space. It shut off the talk in my head. I live a lot in my head.

The imposter syndrome was released. Being born is hard work – happy birthday!  I didn’t fit neatly back into the package-she’s different now, different person.’

Committed to doing your inner work?
