Carrie came up to me in our most recent plant medicine ceremony in Boulder and said, ‘I feel like a crabby 5-year-old boy who just wants to have a temper tantrum.’ ‘Have at it!’ I said.
Later on, as a few of us did rapé (sacred tobacco) and Carrie was done with her temper tantrum, some teachings came in and

For example, how this might play out is your inner feminine, the creative energy, gets an idea, a creative spark, an intuitive hit.
Then imagine your inner masculine sitting at a table with lots of stuff all over it. With his arm, he clears everything out of the way and says, ‘OK, let’s figure out how we’re going to make that fabulous creative idea come to fruition.
Let’s start with devotion to your inner feminine.
Devotion:
‘ardent, often selfless affection, dedication and loyalty, to a person or principal.’
Your inner masculine creates that energy of Devotion so that the feminine feels the masculine dedication right there with her, I’ve got your back.
Consistency:
‘marked by harmony, regularity, or steady continuity: free from variation or contradiction.’ Your inner masculine takes Consistent steps on a daily basis to take that creative spark, that the feminine brought through, and make it a reality.
Boundaries:
‘that which indicates or fixes a limit or extent; a bounding or separating line; a real or imaginary limit.’ This could be speaking your truth, saying no when you mean no, or yes when you mean yes. It requires the end of people pleasing so you can take action in support of the creative spark.
Confidence:
‘belief in the effectiveness of your own abilities, a feeling or consciousness of your powers, of having trust in people, plans, or the future.’ This is a conscious work in progress of expanding self-confidence, trusting that you can make real, in the 3-D world, that creative spark of the feminine.
For many, their inner masculine is often not leading with these amazing qualities due to the societal and familiar programming.
That is where the divine plant medicine teachers bring in their magic to heal, release, and active the new way.
