I have a magical story to share with you today!
In 2021, during a plant medicine ceremony, I received a message:
“You are diamond light. Buy a diamond to remind you of this.”
As often happens in plant medicine ceremonies, messages don’t always make sense immediately. Sometimes it takes years to understand them. I had no idea what this meant.
I also didn’t have the money to buy a diamond, so I bought myself a Herkimer diamond instead. It’s actually a type of quartz crystal, but wearing it reminded me of the message—even though I still didn’t understand it.
A few months ago, I was receiving a healing from Jane. She commented on my earrings, and we ended up talking about her love of diamonds. She didn’t own one, so I shared my story, and we decided to go diamond shopping together.
Then I thought, Hang on… how does one even go diamond shopping, especially living in Taos?!
After checking in with friends, we realized it wasn’t quite so straightforward and decided to learn a bit more before diving in. For me, the idea went to the back burner.
Fast forward to Labor Day weekend. I was in Boulder for my healing week and needed some new undies. Shopping in Taos is pretty limited, so I decided to make the most of being near a mall—one of my least favorite places!
I thought I’d be in and out of Macy’s in 30 minutes.
Little did I know, Spirit had a different plan.
I walked in, started looking for the underwear section…and walked straight into the jewelry department, where diamonds were sparkling everywhere. There were 50% off signs throughout the store for the Labor Day sale.
I knew this was no ordinary coincidence, so I stopped to look.
I knew I wanted a pendant, and there were just a handful to choose from. Perfect! The assistant came over and told me it was the best sale of the year.
There was one pendant I really loved. I tried it on, asked the price—and discovered that, due to the sale, it was a third of the original price!
And what do you know? I walked out of Macy’s with my undies and a stunning diamond pendant necklace!
Wow.
And then there’s more.
The week before, I’d had a life purpose reading. I wasn’t expecting the report until later that week, but when I got home from my shopping spree, it was already in my inbox.
It began with a channeled message, followed by an interpretation. I nearly fell off my chair when I read the third paragraph:
“The deity, wearing the most glorious of all accompaniments of the heavenly abodes, releases from her palms the sparkling diamonds of the ascension principles of being, reaching to every heart sitting around the fiery circle of light (sacred fire).”
I couldn’t believe it.
The timing. The diamonds. The message.
I had no plans to buy a diamond yet, and yet Spirit had made it very clear: it was time.
And now, five years after receiving that original message, I’m finally understanding what “You are diamond light” means to me.
A diamond is formed under immense pressure over a long period of time. It refracts light, separating it into its full spectrum of color and revealing what was already present within the light, but not yet visible to the eye.
This is me.
As I embody and fully own this diamond light, my presence, my soul songs, and my healing hands refract light—revealing to others the fullness of what is possible, what is available, and what is already within them.
Since this powerful Labor Day experience, even more things have been emerging around the diamond theme. But I’ll save those stories for another time!

Remember: Spirit will never give you the whole picture. Follow each piece of guidance, and then the next step will be revealed.
I was given the guidance in 2021, but it took me five years to take the action. Now that I have, an avalanche of exciting things is unfolding.
