Learning to hold healthy boundaries is a very common theme nowadays. Most of my clients, when they start to work with me, have poor boundaries come up, and I always hear a deep sigh or an ugh. They know this is a sore spot.
There is people pleasing going on.
Fear of speaking up.
Fear of rocking the boat.
Not feeling worthy.
And the list goes on…
It’s a big arena to cover, so for today, I want to focus on how oversharing is a form of poor boundaries. For example, if something magical or not so amazing happens, many have a tendency to want to tell everyone.
Recently, I got this message made clear to me in a plant medicines ceremony. The guidance they brought it for me, I would have normally excitedly shared with friends, but NO. The message was it’s time for healthy boundaries (inner masculine). Do not share any of this. Keep it sacred and quiet in my heart for the time being.
I’ve observed how it’s been hard at times not to share the guidance I received.
However, on the other hand, by keeping it sacred and quiet, no one else’s projections, opinions, or thoughts have been interjected. This is allowing me to continue my homeplay, staying fully connected to the guidance. This is very powerful. This is the power of holding healthy boundaries with what you share with others.
This is an invitation to take this to heart and feel into an area or theme where you might be oversharing. Become aware of that and consider holding back, hold it sacred within your heart, and feel how that changes the outcome.
