After 17 years of poor health, I finally found a doctor (thank goodness for functional medicine!) who figured out what is going on with me… Celiac disease.
Because it’s been untreated for decades, there is much healing needed and many changes to make in my diet. It’s all been very overwhelming, to say the least.
I’ve had a host of emotions: anger, frustration, relief, celebration, hope and being totally bummed and annoyed at social gatherings because I can’t eat any of the amazing food.
Victim energy has been popping up every day but everyday for less time. I had two full on days of ‘Poor me, Why me?’ energy when I first got the news. I allowed myself to be in that.
Then it was time to shift perspectives as I know there is an amazing treasure within this healing journey. I’m excited to find it!
