Energy Work to Self-Soothe and Self-Heal

Consider learning or practicing an energy healing modality like Reiki or Healing Touch. You can put your hands on yourself at any time to calm yourself down, release other people’s energy from your field, and bring about your own self-healing.

In addition, when participating in workshops to learn energy healing modalities, you will find many people like yourself – other Highly Sensitive People; these classes are a great place to meet and connect with people who understand you.

The Shift!

Here are a few examples of healing modalities you might enjoy giving to yourself, or receiving from another: reiki, craniosacral therapy, healing touch, breathwork, meditation, tai chi, and many more. Feel into what resonates with you most. If you are not familiar with some of these, try out a few different modalities and notice which one best nourishes your soul.
