It’s time to open the 5th chakra, the throat chakra, wide open to actually say what is true for you! No more putting on a smiley face and saying all is well, whilst inside you squirm in discomfort with negative emotions like anger, annoyance, disappointment or fear. When you aren’t truthful with yourself, your spirit shrinks, diminishing self-love. It takes courage to be honest, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. You might also notice how the ego / mind makes the fear of speaking your truth scarier than actually speaking your truth.
The Shift!
This is an area where many Highly Sensitive People have trouble. So today, start speaking your truth, even in the smallest way. It’s a step in the right direction. As the saying goes, ‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’. Be aware today when, where and with whom you don’t want to speak your truth. Notice why? Is it out of fear of hurting someone’s feelings? Is it just ‘easier’? Does a certain person scare you? Jot down some notes during the day with scenarios that come to your mind. You might want to pick the easiest person or situation on your list to start speaking your truth with on a regular basis and build your confidence.
Since this is a biggie, you might need support from a healer, sage or counselor to help you clear out old stories and programming so you can develop the habit of speaking out, loud and clear. Your inner spirit will be so happy when you do.
