Gratitude!
Today is Winter Solstice, the shortest day, the longest night, and a wonderful day to give thanks and feel gratitude for 2017. The highlights are fun to remember and can fill your heart again with joy. The challenges are where the great nuggets of growth and expansion lay – if we so choose to learn from them.
The other day, I did a very simple yet profound exercise. I was asked to reflect on 2017 and write down all of the things for which I was grateful. 10 minutes later, I had quite a list and my heart was overflowing! I’d like to suggest to do that as your Home Play today and then sit in meditation, allowing the gratitude to expand.
As you prepare to move into 2018, keep these memories alive, but release the energy and attachments to the positive and negative experiences so that you can fully embrace the NEW, and not stay in the past, for either the good or the bad.
